Taskbar Toolbars

I have been using a Taskbar Calculator for a while now and want to make something similar that sits in the Taskbar.
Does anyone know anywhere that has a framework for one of these?
I can only find articles on the internet that talk about programs similar to the MS Office tool bar. Not what I want at all.

Sorry to divert the thread slightly but by far and away the best toolbar is Dave's Quick Search Bar. Does so many things you'll wonder how you ever lived without it

Thanks for the link, but I doubt it comes with any source code.
I suppose I could email the guy and ask, but I doubt I'll get it....
