    I'm using Pycharm in work but its an IDE and python only

    Notepad++ although I have used Word on occasion - have to remember to turn "smartquotes" off though

    Brackets had slipped under my radar, just given it a quick test drive and looks brilliant for frontend work, the Chrome integration is swish.

    Sorry yeah I was just messing around because so many people mentioned it (quite rightly).

    I really do like Notepad++. I use it all of the time due to it's "right click -> open with notepad++" feature. While I don't do any specific programming in it these days (I use PHP/WebStorm mainly), it's always there for me if I quickly need to edit or see the contents of a file.

    It's a shame it's not on Linux/OSX too else I would use that. Currently I use Sublime Text for those platforms.
