NEC 3500 and Roxio Easy CD Creator Plat 5

    Hi all,

I recently upgraded from an NEC 1300 to an NEC 3500, but the problem is no matter what I try to do (tried all available updates, re-instal app, re-instal dvd drive etc etc), EZCD won't recognise my drive. I am going out of my mind, have had a look online and the only suggestion seems to be upgrade to ver 6, but ver 5 worked fine with my 1300, why not with this 3500 GGGRRRRRR
    Can anyone help?

Was it the version that came with the drive, as these are often locked to only work with the drive which they were supplied. If not then upgrade may be the only option. I found it cheaper to buy nero than upgrade easycd.
    Not around too often!

Thanks for your reply Menthel, no it didnt come with any software (thats why it was only £50, oem !), the strange thing is I can use the drive to burn CD's @ x48, but it wont recognise it to burn DVD's, how frustrating. Anyone ?
