    Unhappy Linux n00b firefox installation

Right, total linux n00b here. Trying to install Firefox. (on Suse9.0)
Downloaded it to my home dir, opened bash tried to install as-per instructions.
    me@linux:~> tar -xzvf firefox-1.0PR-i686-linux-gtk2+xft.tar.gz
tar: firefox-1.0PR-i686-linux-gtk2+xft.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
    tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
    me@linux:~>
    What am I doing wrong?
The filename is correct cos I checked

Also, sorry to be a pita, how do I get a shortcut to it on my desktop after installation?

Yes I'm using Suse9.0 KDE desktop. Wasn't sure about the rest. Had heard of Gnome but that's it.

In Mandrake you just right click on the "desktop" and create a shortcut, same as windows. I assume since you're using KDE that it's the same.
