    default folder view

    Im now forced to use XP most places i go

    - but one thing the still REALLY annoys me is the "tile" view in folders

    - is there a way to make the "detail" veiw my defualt way of view files/icons??

    Click the Tools>folder options>view... menues... when in a folder

    Sorry myth but the above didn't seem to make sense to me, so just for clarification:

    Within a folder: right click and arrange/view how you wish. Then choose tools->folder options->view tab->apply to all folders.

    Now all folders will be displayed in the view you choose.

    - i didnt get what myth sayed eather, i was looking for an option within "folder options"
