    Raspberry Pi Experts - how to name my seasons?

    I am trying to name my American Dad episodes I have on my raspberry Pi, I have followed the instructions listed below, but the scraper (universal) is still not picking anything up.

    I am using a filenamer utility so I don't have to do them all individually, and so far the below format is all i can muster out of the programme, either way I am sure it follows the required naming conventions for the scraper to pick it up?

    http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title...files/TV_shows

    The way it is laid out is:

    Movies:
    -Series [Folder]
    --American Dad [Folder]
    ---Season 1
    ----American.Dad.201

    Yet it still doesn't seem to do anything with them, this is after renaming them, restarting it and then also clicking 'c' and asking it to find movie information.

    Re: Raspberry Pi Experts - how to name my seasons?

    I had a similar issue on Xbian for RPI, had a structure like this (on the NAS):

    <root>
    --Media
    ----Movies
    ------...
    ----Series
    ------American Dad
    --------Season 1
    ----------[files]

    I had imported the whole "Media" folder in to XBMC.

    I changed the structure to

    <root>
    --Movies
    ----...
    --TV
    ----American Dad
    ------Season 1
    --------[files]

    And imported the "Movies" and "TV" directories separately in to XBMC, that way I could set the media type of each and assign the correct scraper for each share.

    Is each episode in it's own directory as well? Maybe that's an issue, mine aren't in separate folders.

    Edit: you might also want to run the "clean library" function and re-scan everything

    Re: Raspberry Pi Experts - how to name my seasons?

    My xbmc build doesn't care about folders other than the series name one, so don't worry about that.

    You can configure the scraper how you fancy, but I dont think there are 201 episodes in the first season. Most all of mine are SxxExx format.

    Also, learn regexs, you're on linux now, no need for filename utility.
