    Printing to TIFF...

ie, creating an image of a document rather than a physical copy...

A friend of my dad's has some software which came with his scanner which creates a virtual printer which he can 'print' his files to. He wanted this capability on a couple of his other computers so i installed the Paperport software (which is what its called) on the other computers, but there is no virtual printer created, and *seemingly* no option to enable one... Ive had a look on the net for alternative file->TIFF products but i cant find a freeware one.. any ideas guys - has anyone used PaperPort *url* before?

Does it have to be TIFF? Would PDF do? If so PDF Creator is free, and can be downloaded from SourceForge.
