    Try this

Put your page numbers in a header/footer, then in page setup - click the layout tab and check the Different first page box. That means the header on your first page can have a different format (ie no page numbers) to your other header/footers

    Basic silly question on Word..

I am typing a report now.

What I need to do, is to have my cover page with no page numbers.
The Content page must be numbered (i), the Executive summary numbered (ii) and the Introduction page (onward), numbered normally, from 1-#.

Inserting page numbers is simple enough, but how do I ensure that I meet the above requirement?

(In the past, I didn't care much that the cover page had "1" on it, and if I did, I could just print it on a separate Word document)
