Wow, who would have thought they could fit that in 64k when we all used to be amazed at what the demo teams did in 64k back in the day on amigas.

There are times when I look at something like this and realise I can't code to save my life...
It's impressive, but it's a bit disingenuous to compare it to amiga as a) it definitely will use more than 64k of ram and b) it appears to be dependent on geforce drivers which are what 200mb? And however many windows dlls are included.
Given it's OpenGL it was always going to be dependent on an OGL driver from someone - I don't think it depends on GeForce as much as it depends on a particular OGL feature that only NVidia have fully implemented. But yes, it's a long way from being comparable to working within a 64k memory limit, and pales into insigificance when you consider what Bell & Braben managed with the original Elite![]()
