    • Connectors: Software components designed to support connection between software.
    • Guidance: Scripts, code samples , and technical guidance designed to help in the deployment and use of a product or technology.
    • Tools: Utilities or features that help users accomplish a task or set of tasks.
    • Ability to filter updates obtained from Microsoft Update by product and update classification
    • More language support for international customers. WUS Server is now localized to 17 languages.
    • Maximized bandwidth efficiency and flexibility when you install Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) version 2.0. BITS 2.0 will be available on Windows Update.
    • Ability to target sets of updates to specific groups of computers.
    • Ability to analyze the suitability of an update among computers before you decide to install it
    • Flexible deployment options to either set up computers to download updates from WUS servers or directly from Microsoft Update.
    • Improved reporting capabilities that enable administrators to review update status and compliance on multiple computers.
    • Ability to manage both client and server components extensibly through the application programming interface (API).
    • Flexible database options, including the option to use your existing SQL Server database to hold update information.
    • A command-line tool that enables you to migrate from a SUS server to a WUS server.

You should never use pre-release software in production environments really!
And I would always test new software in development environments too.

I'm "beta" testing it for the BOFH and PFY @ work and it seems fine so far with no real issues apart from having to reboot this morning for the updates to be completed.

    Such a good idea really
