    Adding a process to startup

    Hey
As part of my ICT coursework I would like to find out how to arrange for windows to open a certain Excel file upon startup- I don't need to put it into practice, just need a guide on how to add a file to the list of automatic processes that occur when switching/signing onto windows. How exactly would i do it?

You could create a shortcut and add it to the Start->All Programs->Startup folder. Don't know if this is what you mean?

I guess you would need to create a batch file of some some sort, don't ask me how though

meh, wouldn't be too keen on asking the examiners to screw up their pc through an unstable action and give me a zero out of spite, so i'll keep it simple cheers though.

I don't think the examiners would actually use a computer at all for this coursework - as I understand it, they read the printouts and give you a grade, just like any other subject.
