    A reseller has the WHM control panel and cpanelx, the people you set accounts up for have the cpanelx control panel,

    The WHM is very easy to use and accounts can be setup and live within a couple of minutes you have your own webspace, ftp root ect ect...

    thansk Barry

    i still dont really understand the difference between multi-domain and resellers.

    e.g i wish to host my three domains separately. my uncles small business will want to host his in about 3 months, and a friend maybe in 4 months.

    therefore which is best and whats the difference ?

    Basically;

    Multidomain: the domains share everything and the amount of webspace or bandwidth they use isn't controlable. If you completely run out of bandwidth all sites are unaccessible. Only one control panel for the whole thing so if you are hosting someone and they want something doing (email setup, a program installed in Fantastico, something done with mysql etc) you have to do it for them or you have to trust them with your account username and password.

    Reseller: You allocate an amount of webspace and bandwidth to each domain and you can change this as you like. If one domain runs out of bandwidth any other sites run unaffected. Each domain also gets their own control panel so they are free to do whatever without you having to give them your details. This is designed as for people wanting to sell hosting on (hence RESELLER account) but I use it to dish out hosting to friends and family that want it.

    there's probably some more differences.

    Don't want to wreck such a nice post but no, you're wrong every domain gets its own control panel and the the whole packge gets a WHM control panel..

    (I do support/forum mod for them...)
