Windows RDC - From a Intranet Site

    Hey Guys,

I am sure this can be done - I need to know how to make a hyperlink which will load up the RDC client and have the IP address already on it for the link in question.

Might sound odd, it's going to be totally simple but I can't for the life of me find out how to do it.

    cheers

    David

You can't do it natively as RDP is handled by an external application with no registered handle for it.

    Check out: http://www.jjclements.co.uk/2010/02/21/rdp-hyperlink/
That explains how to do it.

Are you looking after a number of windows servers if so Microsofts own Remote Desktop Connection Manager might be of use to you in addition to the above.
