Decent, and free, WYSIWYG editor
Quick query, I have a bit of work to do on a static website with quite a few pages, mainly correcting broken links and images. If I load the page up in a WYSIWYG editor I'm sure I can repair the site in minutes rather than trawling through code for hours.
I haven't used a WYSIWYG editor for a long time, the last one I used was many years ago (Dreamweaver IIRC and that wasn't free). What's the go to WYSIWYG editor these days, if there is one, or should I just resort to Notepad++ like usual and a bit of time?
Re: Decent, and free, WYSIWYG editor
Generally speaking, it's the browsers themselves, you edit in place with them, and your IDE often has ability to pull those changes back.
Given that it's finding the changes you want, just fire up the dev tools, right click, inspect element.

Microsoft Expression Web is free and fairly simple to use.
Notepad++ is nicer though.

Not strictly free But Dreamweaver Trial,(free 30 days use = should be more than enough)
Else inspect element and Notepad ++ (either edit it on site or search for the broken link and replace)

While I have tried WYSIWYG I have been using Serif WebPlus - the earlier released copies (1-2yrs old) were on sale over Xmas break @£10 - 15 for the X6 version - they do a free version that you can try out. They did the same of PagePlus etc
