Reset guest account windows xp/accessing firefox

(Lazy question sorry, but New Year brain not up to screeds of google.)

A while back I was using the guest account on a windows xp pc and now wish to reset it to its original state, ie leaving nothing whatever behind me anywhere on the system.

I went in today to check there were no firefox bookmarks I wanted to save and got the old 'cannot load xpcom'. Iirc uninstall & reinstall firefox should fix that but what's the correct procedure, given that firefox is up to date & working correctly as admin? Should I log out as admin and uninstall as guest, & will that have any adverse effect? Can't see that uninstalling/reinstalling as admin would do the trick..?

Once I have salvaged any bookmarks & got myself out of there, the proper way to reset the guest account would be much appreciated. Ta.

    For the FF issue: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1011996

As for the Guest account. Just turn it off in Control Panel, reboot, login back in as Admin, turn it back on, and then login into Guest again.

I did see that article while doing a quick initial search, that's where I became confused about where I should be when performing the steps - & why - admin or guest.

Thanks very much for the guest account walkthrough. Will that definitely leave nothing I have to also clean up after? I think I read something applying to standard user accounts that said there would be data left in Documents & Settings. I think.
