Embed Video Player Into Web Page

    Hi,

I would like to get a free video player in a web page. Are there any easy options to do this without having to be able to write HTML ?

    Any help most appreciated.

I advise you to use an existing video service such as YouTube or Vimeo, and just embed the video into your page using their player. That way, you're saving yourself development time, hosting and bandwidth costs, and you're also able to leverage their more fully-featured players and social attributes.

As above, I quite agree. The only need for hosting your own might be if your videos need to be private (or you want to limit the number of plays for a particular user, etc) or would otherwise violate the terms and conditions of such services (YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, etc). In that case, host the videos yourself and use a player like Flowplayer or VideoJS. There are quite a few. Just don't use a flash-player 'solution'. HTML5 is the future
