Has any tried Spartan yet?
It's the new MS browser included with Win10 Tech preview 10049. Looks clean and sharp to me, but yet to see how it goes on day to day use, especially with Cortana in-built (having seen the Spike Jonze film 'Her' last night I'd prefer Cortana to have a male voice!).
Anyone else have any views on it yet?
Cheers

Re: Has any tried Spartan yet?
Hell, no, especially with nosy Cortana rummaging through my data reading emails, tracking GPS location data, "syncing" to MS cloud services, and so on.
There are enough decent browser alternatives that I don't see the need for Spartan, and certainly, absolutely emphatically not for Cortana, with an open mike "listening" all the time. So far, I've managed to avoid even having an MS account (I use local accounts, even if MS are making it harder to find how), and have no plans, or intention, to have an MS account.
Don't need Spartan, and REALLY don't wsnt Cortana.

Just a few tests so far and Spartan seems to have a memory problem loading the Dailymail.co.uk compared to IE

Its alright, just annoying when you maximise a youtube video it doesnt fully maximise. It just go the size of the browser.

I approve of this :D
had a quick poke at it earlier this week when shifting the wife's new laptop to Win 10 (which is a story in its own right). Seemed very snappy to me compared to both Chrome and IE on my PC, which is not dissimilar in specs.
