i did all the things i might do
revert reg remove newest changes reset cacheman even

    nada
another forum reccomended uninstall vidcard drivers
i had problems previously uninstalling ati drivers
i find a utility called driver cleaner at
    www.3dchipset.com
ill be putting the same version back in do you think its neccesary to use this program

i dont want to muck up the registry etc..either

Like they said, uninstall the vid drivers. Might be something else, but this has to be the best candidate.

Before resorting to using such programs (and before you use it, see what driver version it works up too) I would see if you have an entry in add/remove programs to uninstall first. If not, I would consider looking for an updated driver to just install over the top without uninstalling first (normally bad practice... but).

2 guys in other forums said reinstall win
    13 said redo vidcard driver

there is a lot more fight in me not to do reformat
i have a raid 0 setup and would have to have a tech redo everything

    i will use add remove
