I'd be curious what the Security, Application & System event logs say, if you fancy saving, zipping and uploading them somewhere. Obviously you would need to consider whether they might contain a password etc, i.e. if you typed your password ino the username field incorrectly even once in the past.

just use teamviewer, it is a lot easier

Amen! Would said it too but by the time I read the thread, the issue was resolved
