Windows 10 Mail feature - folders???

I installed Windows 10 on my PC and it is working kind of phone (the Edge browser is incredibly unstable and I am using Firefox); I liked the integrated Mail feature, but is there a way to organise emails? I could really use some folders there, but there doesn't seem to be any feature for folders, categorisation etc. I understand MS probably wants to sell Outlook for $$$, but even Android lets you organise things a bit by saving mails etc.
    Have I overlooked something here?

Nope, the mail feature is shockingly poor.

The mail app didn't seem to support IMAP folders properly for me - it would list folders, but could not open them

Re: Windows 10 Mail feature - folders???

The last decent full featured e-mail app I used was Eudora, from Qualcomm (yes, the chip maker). They stopped working on it 10 or so years ago, and Mozilla supposedly took over it, but shelved it in favor of Thunderbird, which isn't much better than a steaming pile of offal...

I currently use a program called Pop Peeper - checks multiple accounts, multiple types (IMap, POP, etc), and has a limited, but functional enough text client. No, you aren't doing HTML mails on the outbound side, but maybe that's a good thing. There's both a free and premium version, and both are quite good, depending on how much you want/need. Otherwise, I'm strictly webmail. I pay my ISP enough that it doesn't break my heart at all for them to store things, and they have a nice set of folder creation options.
