Running UD when rendering 3ds max

Ok so I want to download and run UD as a screensaver when my pc is idle, however I do a lot of 3ds max rendering and is running UD going to increase rendering times?

My question is, is there a way to set the ud client to low process priority so 3ds max gets most of the power when it is running?

    Thanks in advance.
    Tim

Edit: Also is it better for me to use UD or Find-A-Drug. UD seems a bit commercial and I dont like the fact that they sell your cpu time to the highest bidder. But is Find a Drug any different?

All these distributed clients should be running on pretty much the lowest priority out of the box, so no worries there.

As to the UD vs Find-a-drug, I'm in no position to comment as I don't use either, but I believe from what I've heard that Find-a-drug is more 'charitable' so to speak.
They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them.

Find-a-Drug is the less commercial as far as I can see. More importantly, the drug finding program it uses is way more efficient than the one UD uses. AFAIK both come set to run at lowest priority straight out of the box- I've never noticed any performance loss at all with either UD or FAD.

Thanks for the comments guys! I have installed UD with no performance loss with it on all the time which is great. I will however look a bit more into find-a-drug if it is more efficient and perhaps install that.

you should be able to opt-out of the commercial use of UD in your settings on the site.
