LAN Monitor

Is there a piece of software that will let me see what is going over my network. For example seeing if winmx is downloading or if webcam is being used etc?

Also is there anything that will let me block the above from going over the network?

Using a decent router you should be able to block those services if you know which port they run on

I just have a simple Belkin 4 port hub.

Is there no way to see what goes out of the lan port on my pc? (this pc connects to the net)?
