never had a single problem with it, if you use the likes of norton and other applications on the list here:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884130

Then they may need a patch or update for them to work with SP2, but its not to much hassle. Hope this Helps

I think I was using pc-cillin at the time i download, and didn't have a problem . It'll be fine don't worry. It's been out for AGES now, so I'm sure any major bugs would have been found and fixed by now.

Like above, I've never had a problem with it.

Make absolutely sure that you're virus and spyware free before you do it... otherwise you might have issues.

Other than that I've had no problems on the rigs I've put it on.
    PHP Code:

because alcohol replaces atapi.sys with a modified one, to allow its mounting system to work.

Hmm that might explain why my CDRW's firmware update softwre won't detect the drive

Edit: Maybe not. Worked for my mate who has the same drive and Alcohol 120%

Had no probs with it except the same with Alcohol 120% (Only use this occasionally anyhow) Should imagine installing it after SP2 and it should be ok.

I did seem to get a slight drop in framerate on the games after installation initially. Just disabled the security center and a few other automated things XP seems to do without you're knowing and now its fine.
