Searching software to record movies

Hello there!
I am searching a good software, which is able to record videos from the internet and save it on my computer. Now I stumbled over a software named (removed). It is a payment-software. But I don’t want to buy it before I am not really sure So has anyone already made experience with this software? A good movie quality is very important for me. And a simple application would also be nice. Besides I’m not 100% sure, of this is a legal thing? I only want to use it for myself. Thanks in advance.
