Anyone know how to copy all the email account settings from one windows installation to another?
P.S. Don't want to use Ghost, etc. because current installation has some issues.

which email client?
Yep, it depends on the client.
I hate to say it though, but 'pen and paper' is usually the best way to do it - Just note them down, and re-enter them on the new installation.
Outlook. Tried loads of others, but find I prefer it.
I already have a method that is better than pen & paper - copy & paste into a text file, put that on the flash memory stick and copy and paste on the new puter. Just looking to make it even easier.
Besides I already now how to port my message folders across, and was hoping to just add another file to that backup.
if using outlook, just open up outlook express - choose to import mail account settings - then you can export those to a file. it's a bizarrely complicated way of doing it - but it works. however - I've got to agree with Hanners - pen and paper. howver, if you can't remember your mail server ip addresses - you've got more to worry about (just kidding )
Ta m8. & nice duds...
