I decided to buy macrium to get the incremental option to cut down on backup time, the incremental forever is a good way of keeping the amount of files down.
As it is £47.95 for a home licence I sent a message on the Macrium facebook page asking if they had any discount codes. I got a 20% off code within 5 minutes :)
Is there anything that Veeam Endpoint backup (free version) will not do that other paid backup software will?
After finally installing Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (on the last day that it was available for free!), I've yet to start using it as I wanted to make one 'golden image' before I started installing programs etc. Not sure if the options I've been considering (Veeam Endpoint, Macrium Reflect, Aomei Backupper or even Windows 10 built-in system image backup) are all much of a muchness?
Also considering installing and using Restore Point Creator (free) as it sounds far more useful than the stock Windows 10 system restore function in that it allows individual restore points to be deleted, something Windows 10 will only allow you to delete all system restore points, not individual ones.
Question to anyone who been creating regular backups of Windows OS, do you use one or the other or both (create an image of your Windows OS then regular incremental images plus regular system restore points)?
Thanks.
