Windows 8.1 Bitlocker problem
I can't turn Bitlocker back on after suspending it for a BIOS update.
"The path specified in the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) for a BitLocker Drive Encryption integrity-protected application is incorrect. Please verify and correct your BCD settings and try again."
I've checked the all the requisite settings in the BIOS, TPM, secure boot etc. I've reset the BIOS defaults too.
I've backed up all my data, decrypted the entire drive, reset the TPM and I still can't start Bitlocker.
I've tried this;
https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/929834
Which doesn't work.
I've tried this too;
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...d-02c07e8e2556
bcdedit -set {identifier} device partition=\Device\HarddiskVolume1
Which doesn't work either.
I tried volume0 which bcdedit doesn't accept.
I've also tried volume2, my EFI boot partition, which bitlocker complains it's "not a recognised file system"
I don't know my way around the BCD, can anyone help?

What volume is the {bootmgr} and {memdiag} supposed to be pointed at? e.g The volume containing the OS? The EFI system partition?
To re-iterate;
bcdedit won't let me use \Device\HarddiskVolume0, which is the OS drive, with the error message:
"An error has occurred setting the element data.
The request is not supported."
Using \Device\HarddiskVolume1 gives the "The path specified in the Boot Configuration Data (BCD)" error.
Using \Device\HarddiskVolume2 causes Bitlocker to give me this error message;

Re: Windows 8.1 Bitlocker problem
Do you have Intel RST installed?
Re: Windows 8.1 Bitlocker problem
Re: Windows 8.1 Bitlocker problem
No, I had issues with the last windows 10 update, if RST was installed it flat out broke bitlockers hardware encryption.
Re: Windows 8.1 Bitlocker problem
Sorry missed that it was the same link.
I think I would try a separate fresh install and compare the bcd details, or better a previous back up image even if out of date.
