I have an annoying issue I can't find a solution for, I have a Dell XPS 15" Laptop with a 4k panel, When I select View - Large I get what I have on my other PC's, the correct size thumbnail in the box.
If I then pick extra large the box size increases as expected but the image stays the same size
Other sizes work fine it's just extra large. Due to the small screen and high resolution it would be nice to use extra large in picture folders.
The common results to do a registry hack but this dword doesn't exist and following the edit below does naff all
PHP Code:
Registry Hack Method
Hold down the “Windows key” and press “R“.
Type “regedit” and click “OK“.
Navigate to the following location in the registry.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Microsoft
Windows
CurrentVersion
Explorer
Look for an entry on the right side for “ThumbnailSize“. If you can’t find it, then right-click on “Explorer” and select “New” > “DWORD Value” and type “ThumbnailSize” for the name and press “Enter“.
Double click “ThumbnailSize” and set the value to a number between “32” and “256“. The higher the number, the larger the image thumbnails.
Close the registry editor and you’re ready to view your photo thumbnails in the size you wish.
Any ideas hexites?
Thanks.
