Help - XP ctrl-alt-del driving me nuts

If I had a penny for every time M$ automatically screwed my settings in windows I would be richer than Gatesy himself. over

I have installed .net framework 1.1 in order to use Ati Catalyst Control Panel (which I want to use)

However this screws with the way you log on and log off. I have fixed the logon issue by using the "control userpasswords2" from the run command, unfortunately when I use ctrl-alt-del to see what I have running I get that annoying window with 6 or so options. Also the turn off window uses the scroll menu which I hate.

IT IS DRIVING ME MAD. why oh why do they have to screw with you this way?

Can anyone remember how to get this back to normal? (xp pro) I did it once a long time ago but can't for the life of me remember.
