    Debian Characters

I just switched my rig on (Debian w/ Kernel 2.6 I believe) and it has decided to write in some strange language (looks like Arabic and Latin characters (not the ones i'm used to anyway)) and I can't see a way to fix it.

    Can anyone help?

'reset' forces the system to use your default locale. or try 'dpkg-reconfigure locales' to re-set what those locales are. or check that your windowing environment is using the right locale (should ahve a setting)

Learn Arabic and Latin and then you'll know which langauge it is and you'll understand it anyway!

    Sorry I can't help!
