they've just gone to Release Candidate 1 so they are in the final stages.
Find out if drivers are available for all your hardware first. It is more likely that your system will run slower with xp64 than 32 though, but I know it's fun to try new things
(It will run slower due to lack of driver optimisations, running software in compatability mode etc)
