Isn't there a progy that combines all 3 characteristcs?
If not then i prefer:
easiest & fastest.
But if it combines highest image quality aswell, it will be apreciated.
If not then...
How about links of 3 diferent programs that utilize these 3 "exclusive" characteristics.
Thanks.
If you use the GordionKnot RipPack (which contains a lot of different applications) and follow the instructions on www.doom9.org then you get good quality, and is reasonably easy after the first time. As for speed, that depends on your CPU as well as the settings you choose.

speed and quality cannot mix. full stop. ease of use, well i've never had a mix of ease of use & quality either, so buggered if i know what's good for that. under windows, i've used gordian knot extensively - not easy, but if you know what you're doing the results can be great. under linux i use dvd::rip and avidemux, which is probably easier for the same quality
Don't know the best program but this fantastic step by step guide/article will be of use. It tells you which programs & codecs to use and how to get the best quality.
DVD2XVid - The Ultimate Guide
I dont use this myself anymore (I now use the separates as i have a slightly better understanding of the options), but try Dr Dixv. For ease of use, its pretty much a no-brainer, but if you can hack a bit more of a fragmented process then use the recommended guide
