Nero churning out DVD coasters

All of sudden Nero seems to be churning out DVD coaster and not reading properly from DVDs (films are fine but installing HL2 doesn't work - the DVD just seeks forever and doesn't start data extraction).

Any known / classic problems?

Am using Nero 6.0.6 and have most up to date firmware
