    Power Point presentation protection

The gf is a phD student and needs to send off a power point presentation
however she doesnt want it getting stolen and used by someone else
(would you believe this actually happens)
Can you password lock them or make them so that they work but cant be
    changed like a pdf??

also why does it change power(point) together with powe*****
why doesnt hexus like ****** r.p.o.i.n.t as one word?

I would assume there would be some sort of protection available, but I'm not sure... Depending on who and to where it's being sent, could you not just send it as a password-protected RAR file or something?

I don't have Powe****** installed, but I've had a look in Word, Excel and Access, and there's security options in either Tools > Protection or Tools > Security, which you can use to set read-only access etc, so I would assume there would be the same thing in Powe******.

I have it as part of 2003 office sweet, in tools options it gives option for password to open as well as DRM, however if you have earlier versions it may well be under the Save > Options menu

If your running 2003 the Readonly will help, DO NOT use it if its 2000 or lower. The person can simply 'save as ...' save a new copy and its not readonly anymore.
