    Post Virus Trouble... Please Help

Here is the state of play regards my computer. The original problem
was message Generic Host Process for Win32 services. It wiped out any
sound and said sound card not attatched it would not allow you to open
programs and kept freezing the system.
I ran the virus check and removed TROJ.KILLAV.DU this got through even
with mcafee and spysweeper which i bought. It seems to have cured that
prob but now im getting Unable to initialise tray icon message on
start up, dont know what it does have searched google but not really
    any help. Any suggestions?

OK, run msconfig, go to the startup tab, disable all the items, then re-enable them one by one, rebooting between each one and running msconfig again, until you re-enable the one that throws the error. Then post which it was.
