    whats the difference between the two and is it worth the little extra for pro

    It pretty much boils down to Bitlocker and Client Hyper-V unless you are running your own domain at home.

    The irritation with Home is I keep finding incredibly useful things that are missing. Local Users and Groups, local Group Policy editor, Remote Desktop Terminal Services and most recently Print Administrator. You can live without all these things but when Windows breaks, it can be much quicker to diagnose and/or fix when you've got them.
