    Outlook

Got a machine here that is now taking ~10 minutes to load Outlook, I;ve reinstalled office and reconfigured the mail support and changed the pst file but its still taking ages.

Had a look at the memory useage when Outlooks opening and the page file size is bloating to 2gb when it loads and then dropping back off to normal when its closed.

    Any ideas anyone?

Exactly; Outlook'll barf completely when the .PST gets to 1.82GB, and anything over a few hundred meg really causes it to churn.

Have you installed any service packs for it? Also, you could try detect and repair from the help menu in Outlook, it may fix any damaged files. You will probably need your disk for this.
