    Lightest operating system?

    I have a lenovo yoga 300, celeron, 2gb RAM, SSD and touchscreen.

    Its is only used for the YouTube & gentle Web browsing, but it struggles massively with YouTube. Laggy, unresponsive, slow etc

    Is there a lighter O/S that would support the touchscreen, but allow maximum performance for Web browsing? Windows 10 is whats running today, latest build.

    I would probably go for Lubuntu. But I think you need to aim for a cloud based OS.

    Could be a codec issue? Which Celeron/platform is it? If it doesn't have hardware decode for something the Celery is going to struggle with video...

    If you don't get on with Linux, then I find a clean wipe and re-install usually gets these low powered devices back to decent performance again.

    You could try a chromium based os, might be more web browser optimised than Linux, although it is Linux based its self
