If I want to dual boot Windows 2000 and Debian, which should I install first? I assume that I'd install Windows first, and then Debian would detect Windows, so that GRUB could boot both?
Thanks
Mike

Yer, Windows seems to ignore Linux installs,
I can't believe how many times this question gets asked.
Can't wait for the next "which distro should I use" or "which distro is best" thread
Although FYI mike, not all distro detect the windows install, and sometimes get a little messed up, always better to double check it or do it by hand.

It is Inevitable.....
This was just a quick thread to make sure - I didn't want to go through the process of installing everything to find out it doesn't work!
