erm... this is magical and new? 64 bit firefox is years old, for those of us on linux

you may be unhappy to know the situ with plugins (flash, java) isn't great with a 64 bit browser. just use a 32 bit one.

this bizzare obssession with 64 bit is killing me, I run a 64/32 bit cross platform workstation, for genuine purposes (software builds - video encoding) but even on my 64 bit platform I run firefox in 32bit mode.

I just don't get why everyone is jumping on 64bit, I can see it now in all the signiture images hardware blah blah software: windows xp 64 bit !!!!!

Yer, 64bit makes really little difference, it hardly ever needs 64bits cause the numbers dont get that hight or something and when they do they are processed in another part of the chip (which is a bit stupid i would have thought) But i do like the sound of 64bit

But its still cool to say 64bit...
If it wasnt for number what would the N64 be called?
How about Team17 (makers of worms etc they were one better than all the other 16bit game makers).

In the style of the Colonel from Full Metal Jacket:

"Inside every Firefox user is an IE user trying to get out. Lets hope this open source craze blows over soon."
