    John Carmack on Java/Netbeans/J2ME

    Haha yeah he is a legend. The read was not so bad. His viewpoint on Java which is the weapon of my choice is very interesting and valid. Java still needs a lot of work there is no doubt about it. But progress is being made. And with hardware now becoming faster than ever...and multicores are in the horizon, speed is not going to be much more of an issue anymore. Java is already fast at the moment but faster and faster is always better.
