    64 bit apps, know of any?

    I am serching the net for any and all 64 bit apps! If you know of any please post!

    no, that's 64 bit (e.g. amd64, though that's far from the only 64 bit arch in existance) versions of linux

    e.g. amd64 versions of fedora, mandrake, debian, gentoo, whatever.

    red hat 9's sorta 3 years old, which predates amd64

    /usr/local/games/ut2004/System/ut2004-bin-linux-amd64

    installed by default right off the cd/dvd

    you need to manually edity the ut2004 screipt to use that instead of ut2004-bin, but a 2 line edit is far from overwhelming

    benches a tad slower than the 32bit version iirc

    though it was created for amd to showcase amd64 - when the cpu was first being shown off as the future of everything, they used amd64 builds of the ut200x engine on linux to show it off as a gaming platform
