    Modem problem in linux

I have a Motorolla DFM-560IS++ dial up modem on my PCI slot. My redhat Linux 9 detects the modem and I am also able to activate it but cannot dial a connection using WVDIAL. Gives an error in 'dialer default' config. I have installed the linux driver's for my modem. Also the HSFCONFIG command does not work. Need help please.

    ok,

    what error are you seeing.
What does the Redhat hardware compatablity list say for the modem
is the module (assuming your running it as a module) for the modem loaded (not installed - loaded)

    More detail please
    It is Inevitable.....
