    Online Linux Distro Test

Something that may be of interest to add to your arsenal.

    https://distrotest.net/index.php

You can test various Linux Distro's before you install on your own computer, so you can get an idea of which one you might want to use.
Think there's 300+ to choose from and play with.

Bear in mind, it's not equipped for speed and you can't use anything Network orientated in the ones I've tested, so the Internet won't work. There are probably plenty of other restrictions. Initially takes up to a minute to gain a VM slot, then takes about 5 minutes for a VM to be created based on the version you selected.

This can save so much time without having to install and test a load of VMs on your own computer to determine which one you might like to use.
With some you can also go through the installation Wizard which again can be quite handy if you need screenshots or clarification without using your own resources

This came about because someone asked me what basic easy distro could they use and stumbled upon this to help demonstrate Ubuntu.

Certainly something to keep in mind for the future to quickly have a play with the varieties available, without having to mess about with a LiveCD on an actual system or setting up your own VM.

For anyone looking to switch away from Windows in future, I'm sure it would be a big help in giving a taste of which distro would suit them.

You don't need to install a "LiveCD", just boot from it to test and then install once you have found the Linux distribution you like. Advantage (for me at least) is it will show any issues with drivers on my actual hardware.
