A few people have mentioned the PC Pro offer recently.

Ah PcPro was the magic string I was looking for. This is the thread I was looking at:

I have used unity software for years, no problems. But will give

chaps, thread resurrection. The pcpro links now go to an OEM licence not retail, and they've doubled the price.
Anyone know where to get a win10 pro retail licence for not crazy money? I need 3 of them!
I'd consider OEM if they're dirt cheap like <£10 and legit, but ideally we need retail if £40 or under. £50 max
I still can't find it cheaper. Do you actually need windows 10? I've been running Linux Mint on my work laptop and personal desktop for a while, and haven't needed to boot into windows for ages now.
yes sadly, much though I loathe it, we do need windows 10 and it has to be pro or better (business start-up, and their software needs windows). The key needs to come with invoices that can be put through the accounts, or more importantly stand up to IT audits etc, so no dodgy key sites like that chap posted in his now deleted post. (Good modding that btw.) OEM is the fall-back but its galling to pay £70 for OEM when a few months back retail could be had for £38.
Do you know what software it is that needs windows? You can run some windows apps via wine.
If it's a start-up, and money is that tight, take a look at free startup credits from Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS.
On Azure a Windows box with 2CPU, 8GB RAM for 200 hours a month is about £30 per month. If it comes out of free credits, and using a remote machine is viable, it could be an option to save some money?
found two sites doing retail for £40, both UK based and 5* trust pilot. Just trying to choose between the two.
