Virtual drives, what do you use?

I would like to know how many of you use them and what program you use... Also could you list all of the ones you know of?

I have one virtual optical drive, using Alcohol 52%... Other programs I can think are Alcohol 120% (which has cd burning and other stuff iirc), Daemon Tools, and Clone CD if they still make it...

    Alcohol 120%.

CloneCD has sometimes attempted to give me another virtual drive, and stops me playing some games

I use Daemon Tools, which I haven't had a problem with.

Somebody recommended Daemon tools to me on here, I tried it but had a little trouble getting it to work. I'll have to try again.

    Nice and small though

What so you can't use it on a 64bit system?

What's the point of them other than to use illegally downloaded software and/or films on? If you have the discs, run it from a normal drive, it'll save you HDD space.

Actually, is there any benefit to using them over real drives at all?

Try instaling from a 5 CD set once! I have several images of my games that are vital to me since I scratched them long ago
