Through every single version of MSN Messenger you could get rid of the bar on the left, it's just no-one bothered looking through the options to find out. I don't have any ads whatsoever on my Messenger, nor do i have the bar on the left.

Ah crap....what is this? And then i tried to go back to 6.2 and it brings up a message telling me to basically comply or die:

I swear, every time anyone tries to make something new and better, it reinforces my hate for change.

Im currently signed in on 6.2 and I have heard nothing about updates, its very odd that some people are forced to update yet some can still sign in perfectly normally.

exactly, i was just fine earlier.

I want to know how to stop this sign-in block and carry on using 6.2

I quite like MSN7 - the addition of the voice call thing is great, been using it quite alot this evening with to great effect

There is a few too many buttons and whats the personal message all about. Also they have set the backdrop of the main window to be whatever white defaults to in windows - which means with an odd styleXP theme it looks right dodgy. The addition of the MSNSearch is cool as well - could be better though

Once the novelty has worn off I'll probably go back to Trillian.
