Bsod after updating Windows 11 to version 2H22.

Bsod after updating Windows 11 to version 2H22.
After updating Windows Windows 11 to version 2H22 I have started getting BSOD - event id 41 kernel power. I have to assume this is to do with the update as when I revert the system to 2H21 there are no issues. Any ideas on what can be done about this?

    What are your system specs?
Starting to hear a few issues with older PCs.

Short of the unhelpful notion of revering to 2H21 and staying there for a while, no. I don't have W11.

Silly as it might sound though, that is maybe a viable strategy unless you need something in 2H22, and now.

If there are a large enough number of people having that experience, MS will probably eventually identify what the issue is and fix it. Revert for a couple (or more) of months then try again (plus updates) and it might just get solved for you. It's not very reassuring, though, to not have narrowed down what's going wrong. That would, ummm .... bug me.

Re: Bsod after updating Windows 11 to version 2H22.

First thing to suggest is install all the latest drivers for motherboard and other devices like storage, audio & graphics.

Secondly I'd make sure any 3rd party utility software that starts with the system are up to date, this could be things like security, defrag & backup software.

Next I'd load Task Manager and disable all the startup programs.

Remove all external peripherals except mouse & keyboard prior to upgrading and try again.

Use it for a bit and if no more BSODs start to plug back in devices & re-enable software startup.
