MSN messenger forcing me to update

    Hi.

I really dislike the new msn messnger (7.0) - just has lots of annoying features not to my liking. So i have always stuck with 6.2

Today i reinstalled windows and installed 7.0, managed to get rid of most of the annoying features, but then found a really nice skin for 6.2. So, i uninstalled and installed 6.2, but MSN is forcing me to update to the new one otherwise it would let me sign in.

I installed 6.2 on a computer a few days ago and that is working fine

Is there anyway to get round installing 7.0?

    Thanks
    Will.

www.mess.be will get rid of all the crap for you
such as the blocking of certain files being sent to you, and all the advertising and crap.

The latest update is pretty essential as they've a load of security holes in the previous version...
