What's that command?

There's a command or tool to force Win2k to uninstall all hardware devices so that next boot it will re-detect everything again - this would save me loads of time for rebuilding my PC at work.

If you mean you want the mini setup with the PNP detection on reboot like when your imaging machines? Then Sysprep.

the OEM tools (including sysprep) are difficult to obtain - usually they come on an extra CD provided with 3-packs of OEM MS OS's. i'm now a dab hand with the XP OPK, of which Sysprep for XP forms part.

Sysprep is included in the MS install CD - In the support folder, zipped in a file called deploy.

That's on both 2k and XP.
